LOS ANGELES (AP) -- If Roman Polanski were charged with child rape today, DNA evidence, stiffer penalties, outcry over childhood sexual abuse and tougher scrutiny of celebrity justice would make prosecutors much less willing to cut the plea deal the director received more than 30 years ago, legal experts say....

Director Ruben Fleischer skimps on neither the gore nor the fun in his uproarious tale of a world ruined by a zombie plague. Woody Harrelson is very good as a sort of zombie bounty hunter, but Jessie Eisenberg as a college student is what holds the film together. It's entertaining but tentative filmmaking. With Ellen Page (''Juno'') and Oscar winner Marcia Gay Harden. (PG-13 - 111 minutes) P, S.

Michael Moore's latest film examines the economic meltdown and finds capitalism, with attendant greed, the culprit. There are some new wrinkles - Moore goes after Democrats as well as Republicans - and it's his most personal movie yet; it's also a sort of greatest-hits film, with Moore revisiting some old tricks. Well made, but won't win over any converts. (R - 120 minutes) P.
