On most nights Orchid Lounge in Manhattan's trendy East Village caters to the usual, fashionable downtown crowd. But on Sunday nights something different seems to be going on that has nothing to do with its Asian-themed decor or its pricey cocktails: Almost all the patrons sipping drinks on Orchid's plush couches are women.
