When they first played together at L.A.’s The Troubadour in 1970, Carole King had penned 22 Top 40 hits for other, more recognizable artists, and James Taylor was courting attention for his self-titled sophomore album. Since then, the two have become multi-platinum-selling artists, Grammy Award winners and members of both the Rock and Roll and Songwriters halls of fame. King and Taylor reunite in the Valley this week on their “Troubadour Reunion” tour.
